Your writing is a finely polished gem of a wild dance. I found the ending of this part to be very poignant, like he is running from the wildness of himself, the very wildness that he yearns for. I can entirely relate to that. I have a thing for birds of prey. There is a hawk that plays nearby, I stopped to talk to him the other day and invited him to swing by over this way, next day he was on the branch of one of my trees, then flew up to meet his lady love on another branch, they rubbed beaks for a minute, he mounted her, and then it all ended abruptly and they flew off.
